We will be performing a 1/2 hour set on the 2nd half of a concert by the Sound of New England Chorus. They are a group of more than forty women from central Connecticut and southern Massachusetts who love to sing barbershop music. Sound of New England is a chapter of Sweet Adelines, International, a non-profit organization of approximately 30,000 members in choruses and quartets, worldwide.

A “Soup Cook-Off” will be held in conjunction with an encore Cabaret by Judy Handler and Mark Levesque in the social room. Church members will be preparing original soup recipes for taste-testing. Cost of admission is $10 each. All attending are asked to bring at least 2 non-perishable food items that will be passed along to a local food pantry. The public is invited to stroll through the fields between 1:00 and 3:30 pm, and enjoy the art of the plein air artists painting on the grounds.
Other paintings by the artists will be on display in the red barn and will be available for sale. Tours of the historic buildings will be given on the hour, sparked with tales of the intriguing history of the “gentleman farmers” that once owned Valley Falls Farm. Judy & Mark will play on the porch of the farmhouse during the afternoon, funded by the Vernon Arts Commission.
